I know its short notice, but I'm planning on heading out to Big Cypress Bear Island tomorrow morning with my 7y/o son. We plan on camping for the night in Bear Island. We'll be doin a little fishing as well.

If any one is interested in heading out even for the day let me know. We'd enjoy the company.

Water level was low. A couple of major puddles. Nothing like in October. Had to winch my self out.

Where is Bear island? I am new to the jeep addiction.

Bear Island is in the NW corner of Big Cypress National Preserve. Access is only through Turner River Road. $50 for a OHV annual permit.
