I work in Afghanistan. I am over there for 90 days then home for 30. During my last 90, every time I tried to jump on JKO it says my IP address has been banned. I have sent messages, emails and even messages through FB. I get home and everything works fine. So, what's the deal? Am I banned or not?

JKO is banning your IP address or the military is banning JKO's IP address?

Probably get a faster and better response if you IM a moderator or contact the site owners. Odds are the military is blocking the website. I know the Air Force blocks this site at our base.

I doubt it's the military. My IP was banned too. I work in Kabul and Kandahar. I created a thread in the help desk subforum stating my issue and Admin took care of it. I believe he said all 180 ip addresses were banned because a lot of the spammers have 180 ip's. I too used the contact an admin link on the message I was getting when I'd try to access the site, and nothing ever happened. I used a proxy server to log in and create the thread that eventually got my IP address unblocked.
I'm working at the same spots. I will have to see if they can fix it.
