Ive installed both and am running the Alloys on my Jeep. I like the clear boots on the Poly's/Synergy. I went alloy cause they were cheaper, heck for a set of four they were less than moogs. Ive only had them in for four months. They were tight as hell when first installed and were pretty freaky to drive as the Jeep wouldnt return to zero on its own. Theyve since broken in and feel fine.

Your wrong... Its a pretty good rip off of our part but not perfect. They did miss a few things when they took our part and sent it to Taiwan to be jacked.

:thankyou:

This stuff works pretty good.

The Dynatracs and the Synergy ones are the only ones I know of that are RCV compatible.
A couple suggestions.
1. Add made in USA to your product description instead of clear at the bottom of the page where I didnt see it. I didnt realize yours were domestic and it would have influenced my decision.

2. Sintered metal is not a very good description of the material. Sintering as far as I know is a process and not a material spec. Alloy calls theirs out as 4120 IIRC but no spec is given for yours.

Anyways me and a buddy installed both brands within months of each other so we'll see how they hold out in the long run. Im hoping they are both good products.

1. I think you are reading the item page wrong. Read this... The BJ's we make are not manufactured domestically. As far as I know Dynatracs are the only domestic made JK BJ available.

2. Correct, sintering is a process. There really isn't a good pic of the oil impregnated sintered powder metal race thats at the top of the BJ cup where the cup edge is swedged. Alloy doesn't use a race. The boot is in the way in the pic.

I'm not saying one is better than the other but looks like time will tell in your situation.
Just out of curiosity where are your BJ's made. I do like the clear boots on your product. Makes it easy to grease them without making a mess as you can pretty much see when they are full.

My observations as someone who has installed about 2-3 sets of ball joints a month for the last few years.

Crown/Spicer are a easy clean install. They are not knurled so press in nicer and fit well. Once installed steering is Smooth and tight. Yet to have one returned needing another set, but only been maybe 4 yrs since first set installed and who knows if they would call me if they needed another set, might just not know or DIY.

AlloyUSA (I hate having that USA at the end of such a NON USA company) are a knurled OD and look nice. They fit like crap and take alot to get them to go in true and to fully seat. Once installed they are overly tight and binding. It feels as though the housing for them are over sized and collapse inward or weaker then the Crown/Spicer. Every set I have installed, the owner has commented how much tighter they are and hard to recenter steering. Yet to see a return.

Senergy are a knurled OD and look nicer then the Alloy. They fit a tad better then the alloy but still and take alot to get them to go in true and to fully seat. Once installed they are not as overly tight and binding as the alloy, but are harder then Crown/Spicers. It feels as though the housing for them are over sized sized as well then the Crown/Spicer, but maybe a better material then Alloy and dont collapse as much so not quite as tight after install. Yet to see a return.

I typically just recommend Crown/Spicer. Unless the jeep is on a 39 or larger tire or has steel wheels and alot of weight.

Just my experience.
Arent the crown/spicers the same crappy design as the factory joints? Mine were dead at 13k.

India. X2 on the clear boots... We original had them orange (EXACTLY the same color as Alloys) but ended up changing the material make up a bit to toughen up the boot. Also had the option to go clear at the time so we did it for the same reason you just mentioned.

As far as I know YES.
Cool thats good to know. I understand that some stuff has to be made overseas but I try not to buy shit from those godless ******* comunists in china more than anything so yours being made in india is a bit of a relief.
