Back Rd to Crown King

Great trip with Jp Trails yesterday, the trail has seen plenty of great rain which caused many areas to become washed out to pre- 2005 conditions. Wade had a bit too much flex with his new Rock Krawler 3.5" lift which damaged the rear brake lines. The trip went well until we hit the switch backs and a new Ford F150 got high centered on his front drive shaft. The family which passed us earlier on the trip were stranded for an hour. We winched them back off the trail passed them by, used 3 winches to pull them through the trail as the switch backs were passable in 2wd since they have been graded. We hitch the top after the 2hr delay and hit the Saloon for beer and burgers. Me and Wade camped out for the night and ate breakfast at the saloon...WOW! ON the way down a older guy driving a Tundra passed us up and them pulled over a short time later. Slowing down and while passing I saw he blew a bead. We decided to help the guy out since we had a floor jack and it was over 100*. He thanked us and we headed home. If you ever get a chance to do this trail in Arizona take it. Heres some history on Crown King,Az.
