After five years my Jeep is finally due for its first inspection. The tread on my tires stick out slightly beyond the fenders. Are the high-rise inspection sites picky these days about tires sticking out? How about requiring mud guards all around?
I have a four door JK with 37" tires and 4.5" lift. With 30PSI they actually measure closer to 35". Anyways they stick out slightly. In 2001 I had my lifted TJ inspected (4.5" lift and 33" tires) and they got me on no mud guards all around.
I have to get it inspected this month. Anybody has recent experience with this?
