Well, Team Woods, Team Hundy and Team So_Calif_Rubi all had a GREAT time camping and wheeling in the desert. Camping at Baily's Cabin was especially fun.

I'm still working on the pictures (I'm having trouble with Photo Bucket) but here are the videos:

Ahem, it's now "Club Woods". And I'm looking to add this to our tent LINK

Some added detail of the trip. Club Woods started last Wed. with a tour of the Integratron and camping at Giant Rock. We then headed out to Salvation Mountain and camped at Slab City. Friday morning we drove the rest of the way around the Salton Sea and met up with the Hundys, Richard and the Goddess. The Salton Sea STINKS like dead fish:shaking:. We headed down part of Truckhaven trail to 17 Palms. Club Woods had to run into town for a medical emergency (baby teething), while SCR and Hundys cruised down to 17 Palms. We all met back at Font's Wash and wheeled out to Font's Point. Amazing views from up there. Then over to Inspiration Wash and out the other side on the sand dunes. The Mud Canyons up Inspiration Wash are very cool. Lots of fun stuff to play on, in the wash toward Borrego Springs. And the sand dunes are always fun. We then headed in to town for an luxurious stay in Borrego Springs. The Borrego Springs Resort is a nice place for the money. We had a really great breakfast at the club house. It must have been a two hour breakfast and we enjoyed every minute of it. We'll definitely head back there soon. We then headed out to the Ledge, the Sqeeze and Heart Attack Hill. With me thinking that Pinion Wash went through to the trail, we ended up in a box Canyon. Guess, I should have heeded Timmy's post. But it was a nice run and the Ocotillo trees were all green. We then drove up to Anza, with Richard providing all the cool area details. We headed down North Coyote Canyon. The books talk about the Turkey Track Grade being difficult, but it's just bumpy. The drive down Coyote Canyon is a cool wash and there are a couple trails that we did not check out (Sans Club Woods, the rest of the crew checked them out on Sunday Morning. Will be cool to hear the details...) We camped, crapped and got loaded at Bailey's Cabin . Bailey's Cabin is really cool. I can't believe how few pictures I took. I don't have a single one of us wheelin as a group :pissed:.

Sure was a great trip. I figure we drove about 650 to 700 miles :grinpimp: Shortest 650 miles I've ever drove. I can't believe I have to go work now :bawling:

I see your YouTube name is CalifPrincess. Did Woods and Hundy know about this before the trip? Or just when you showed up in drag?:thefinger::thefinger::thefinger:

"Club" Hundy had a great time as well!

Let me just say I do not like videos of me "not" making it or getting stuck or strapped. :thefinger::thefinger::thefinger:

Borrego Springs resort was very nice- I wanted to stay another nite! Camping at Baileys cabin was way cool. Great camp spot. Got to see alot of trail I havent been on before- beautiful country- I love the green Ocotillos.

After Woods peeled out on Sunday morning, SoCalRubis and Michelle and I explored some more canyons. We found some pretty cool stuff. Owl Hollow had some BIG cat tracks that made us a little nervous, also found some frogs in the creek. We found running water in 2 places. It always seems strange to find running water in the middle of the dez.

We aired up and took a short drive over to SCR's house for lunch next to their creek. They have a great spot in the mountains with a creek in their backyard! Took the 243 north to the I-10- we had never been on that hwy- very scenic. Ended up getting home about 7pm.

This was one of the best, most relaxing weekend we have had in awhile. Which we needed because we have been working alot.

Thanks to Woods for inviting us to join in on their vacation, and Richard for all the great info on that area! Jillian, Melissa, and Michelle are all great campers and we are lucky to have them! I did not hear one complaint all weekend! Thanks, everybody!!!:bounce:
