and run over people on scooters?

CITRUS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- A teen who was riding a motorized scooter was hit by a vehicle in Citrus County Monday.

The incident happened near 1175 Skyway Avenue in Homosassa as the teen was exiting a church parking lot.

The Citrus County Sheriff's Office says that the individual that was hit is either 17 or 18 years old and was taken to Tampa General Hospital.

The sheriff's office says the vehicle that hit the teen was the personal vehicle of a mail carrier.
