I am converting my 2wd to 4wd (finally) and the 2wd axle is coming off next in the next two weeks. I figured someone might want it for the brackets for a 9 inch build or something. I have local junk yard that will pay for it, but I figured I'd give you guys a chance first. So if someone wants it, make me an offer.

It does need to be cleaned up a bit (click on them to see it bigger). Anyway, As promised:

And here is a pic I found of a 2wd next to a D44 front:

I don't need this but that would be a great start for a jeep trailer.

I have a question. Is there any thing in the area where an axle shaft would be if it was a 4x4? It is the same part as a jk 4x4.

On a TJ the wheel unit bearing assembly can come apart if there is no stub shaft with nut.

Just wondering if there is a dummy stub shaft on the unit bearing on a 2wd jk?

Thanks.

I had to run this axle briefly and i can tell you there is no dummy shaft the bearings on the jk can handle it.
