Be sure to check with the folks in the WI 4x4 Association and WI OHV Association (WOHVA). I'm sure they can help you.
And if you ever get over to MN, be sure to check out the Iron Range. Fun wheeling there.
I'm from Minnesota and we have been wheeling in Wisconsin this past summer.
Apple Valley Farms, Chetek WI (private)
Dresser WI (park owned by the MN Go Four wheelers)
Northwoods Overland Park, Rib Lake WI (public, open certain weekends during the summer)
Check out mn_jeep.com.
In Minnesota, the Iron Range is the place to go plus they are expanding and will double the size of the park in a few years.
Appleton, MN (small public ORV park) Lots of sand.
The MN Four wheel drive association and the WI 4X4 associations will be able to help you out too.
Another suggestion is to join a club. The more the merrier. Our club Trailside Engineering has been out several weekends wheeling at the various parks. Its much more fun that way.
