Jon, # 3 in your first post looks like it shold be on a Jeep brochure. Nice work! Actually, all of those shots are great, particularly the one of the little girl. Has really good lighting.

thanks - nothing beats natural lighting. all of the pics were taking with a rebel xti right out of the box. no change to the included 18-55 lens and very little editing.

Photography Thread - hit us with your best shot

Instead of hijacking the new camera thread further I thought I would start an new thread where we can post photos and talk about photography. I'll start off - I went to a Jeep show yesterday and thought I would try out my new fisheye converter for my Pen. Here are some shots:

Nice. I didn't mind you guys hijacking that thread. Good idea to start a designated thread though.

I was messin around yesterday, getting more familiar with shooting in manual only. I realized I desperatly want a faster lens. f/3.5 is way to small of a hole. These were all taken with the kit lens we got with the 7d,

I know what you mean about wanting faster glass - my fasted is a pancake - love it but it gets very old school with a prime. Love the pup shots!

rha - that sandstone canyon shot is epic - where was that taken? I like your play on reflections. I notice myself shooting them a lot too.
