Check out Adobe Lightroom. For photography, it's really the best thing out there right now. It can be used to organize, edit (develop), print, make web pages, and even photo books. It's in expensive, it does not make permanent changes to your files and it's very easy to learn.

You're using Photoshop elements of Lightroom? they are very different.
