Nothing but the best feedback re: Discount Tire from me !

I gotta admit that I thought Level8 had it really 'goin-on' with their last product intro, the Pro Bully . I thought they had a new , harder-core vision and that model was a good New direction for them .
I admit these new wheels, while I'm sure are fine quality, sure leave a bit to be desired aesthetics-wise. They look like wheels that already exist from other manufacturers already ( XD, ProComp, etc) . Just weird these are the designs they opted for in 2019....

Agree with the sentiment but would love if I could get me a tracker pro in the 17x9 variety....

Just grabbed new sneaks through dtd for the wife's crv and had em in two days and got my $50 rebate within 2 weeks which is amazing turnaround.

I am still bummed I can't get me a matching spare though

I've looked for a while and have never found one. Tracker yes but the other has been elusive....I ended up grabbing a mickey thompson rim at a super discount that looks the same/same backspace sans the rock ring.

Based on feedback seemed to be a popular rim so strange they come out with new models but get rid of a popular style.

Wow.
I commented having no idea that (A)they created that great looking, seemingly sturdy wheel but DIDNT continue to offer the consumable rim shield / scuff-rings to existing customers.
(B) I also did not know that they completely ceased making them at all with the intro of these new models .

Seems like strange business decisions.

Again , not ANY reflection on Discount Tire in any context here.

Hi, j3ff3ry_j33p!

The Level 8 brand was sold a couple of years back and during that time it's my understanding that the Pro Series line was discontinued due to a wheel plant closure overseas. The wheel molds went down with the closure, so to speak.

Thanks, man. That is sorta a bummer, but makes sense. The things were so popular I couldn't ever get a set anyway, lol.
It's cool of you to follow up with thread & bring those of us who are not as "in the know" as an industry-player such as yourself, up to speed on why this occurred. You are a valued vendor here ; aside from bringing us deals and values on the wheels and tires we all need, you bring pertinent information to the forum.

Keep that up ,sir! :wink2:

We appreciate the kind words, j3ff3ry_j33p

I agree that it's a bummer! The Bully Pro was one of my personal favorites and the Pro Series was packed with cool features.
