I got an aftermarket alarm system installed a few months ago with proximity detection so that the alarm would go off when people reached in my jeep. I then found out that the alarm only arms if the doors are shut, making the system useless with my warrior tube doors. If possible, I'd like to use a jumper or something to trick the jeep into thinking my doors are installed and shut so the alarm will function like it did before.
I tried taking apart my full doors and reverse engineering the pinout to the door's plug, but it was a major PITA and I didn't want to splice any wires. Out of the 8 wires on my door, I figured out which two are for the power window motor, which two are for the power locks, and I think which two are for the open/closed sensor. I can add pics of what I found later for anyone who wants to help.
My jeep is an '08 wrangler X with power windows and locks and the keyless entry system.
