i am adding some new components into the dash as my stock ones didn't like me blasting them at max volume.

how would i wire in the components to the stock deck with no amp?

would i do it this way -

run wire from stock 6.5 to crossover and run dedicated speaker wire from the crossover to the new tweeter and the new 6.5?

or

would i just put the tweeter on the dash and the 6.5 in the lower dash with no crossover?

you should have a single + and - that went into the factory 6.5. take those and run them into the crossover, then run the tweeter and mid separately out of the crossover.
