I finally got a full size spare. My tires have around 4,500 miles on them. Should I throw the spare into the rotation, or just keep it brand new? I plan on buying the same set when these wear out.

What is the pattern you all follow when doing a 4 and 5 tire rotate? Right now I move the rear forward, and the front back and across. Thanks

Only 4500? I'd rotate it in. I go spare -> RR -> RF -> LR -> LF -> Spare.

x2 on what he said. I do the 5 tire rotation to get the most out of the rubber. I am still on stock tires, trying to save for better ones later. By the time I run the stockers down I will have enough for new wheels/tires.

You'll never use your Jeep for off-roading anyway so go to Discount Tire and ask them.
