Selling my RHB 430n radio. It's in great shape and works great. Selling to upgrade to a Alpine 9in.

Asking $550 and I'll split shipping

Only reason I asked is because I read that some 12 & down models only upgrade to v10, and 12 & up are still upgradeable firmware wise.

What version are you after and why? Just curious?

I probably wouldn't care at all, except no one can tell me exactly what each firmware upgrade 'fixed/changed', so it may make no difference at all, just not sure.

I can tell you I have had zero issues with it and I work at a dealer so I try to keep the radio up to date

Can I ask, if my original was the 130s and I have the u connect, steering wheel controls, etc, will getting this one come with the GPS or do I have to get a module?
Sorry for all the questions.

Are you referring o the uconnect portion? There were firmware upgrades to that so that certain cell phones would work better with the whole setup. My 2013 430 needed the update. After that all was good. The down side is the dealers were not doing the update IIRC.

Here is a thread in another forum that has the update as well as being able to talk to one of the folks who worked on the update.

Android 4.3 issues with Uconnect - JeepForum.com

Id certainly like to have the maps updated in my 2015 since they lack a lot of roads that have been out for several years. Unfortunately there is no update out that I'm aware of and Ive checked the garmin site.

If you have satilite radio currently then it's plug and play....if you don't then you would just need to add the antenna

Correct....uconnect software and radio software are 2 totally different animals. The uconnect is updated via the USB port in the center console....Radio software is updated via CD/DVD via CD player.
