Hey All!

I just bought a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 door. I have had 2 doors in the past but this is my first 4 door. I am having an awful time getting the soft top to lie flat when putting the top all the way down.:crying:

Does anyone have any advice, instruction, or know of any video tutorials that will help me? I don't want it to look like a giant cricket rolling down the road!

Thanks much!!

When folding the bows, I've found that by default the fabric is pulled by gravity into the joints as it folds back. I've taken to inverting the folds in the joints by pulling them out after folding the bows back. The fabric wedging into the joint serves to keep the bows from folding all the way.

I hope that makes some sense. I can't think of a better way to explain it.

What he said^. You have to keep the material away from the frame hinge or it won't flatten. Also velcro strap the frame on each side once you get it laying properly.

I also threw some disconnects on mine so if I know it's not going to pour I'll just pop the whole shebang off and not have to deal with it at all and just throw it back on when the forecast requires.
