I want to think that later model JKs came with fairly long brake lines that are good up to 2.5" lift. Braided brake lines may make braking feel more responsive than rubber lines if you are really good at noticing those kind of things. There is nothing wrong with going with longer brake lines as long as they are routed properly and aren't rubbing on things. Braided lines generally are not as strong/durable as factory rubber lines and can be more sensitive to kinking if not installed or routed correctly.
