I just took my front end apart to install a truss, braces and new balljoints. When I went to remove these nuts they weren't very tight.

Now that i have it back together it feels so much better, even with my roached trackbar bushing (new one should be here soon). My balljoints weren't great but not horrible either...

This has me wondering what effect those nuts being loose would have? I'm not quite curious enough to loosen them and drive around since I feel like I already dodged a bullet.

Oh yeah... 35mm=1.378 and 1 3/8"= 1.375... worked fine, just a little snug.

I also remember someone telling me you can't drive around without the stub axle and nut, that the unit bearing will fail quickly. Not sure...

I doubt that. Ive heard of people driving around with tube plugged and broken u-joint removed.

Ive done that for a while before but the stub shaft and axle nut were installed. It was a trail fix that lasted a few days LOL
