2007-2011 were pretty much the same. The only real differences I have seen are on the 2007 and maybe early 2008s having a different connector where the main harness connects to the injector harness.

Somewhere along the lines Jeep swapped the connectors female to male. If your harness is different just pull the intake manifold and use your original injector harness and you will be fine

I just did a long block swap on my kids 2007. In 2007, Chrysler used different sized lifters (.90), and in 2008-2011 they are smaller (.84). I ended up ordering a 2007 specific long block DDK5,, but many part houses and engine rebuilders will use the same block and heads through out the 2007-2011 years.
My dealer tried to scare me and state that my kids Jeep needed a computer reflash, but I am happy to report that my ATK “famous brands” engine from Rock auto started fine and has not thrown any codes. We are currently at 300 miles in the break in, so I hope for the best!
DDK5 2007, .90 lifters
DDK3 2008-2011, .84 lifters

PS,
As big of a job it was to swap engines with body on, (I did my V8 body off), I would not recommend swapping in a used motor. I bought my remanufatured engine for 1700.

This is true but if the OP is installing a complete engine he wouldn't need to worry about the lifter size. And I doubt a computer flash would be needed as long as he uses his stock ECU.
