That's because 285/70R17 is .6" taller and 1.2" wider than factory 32.1 x 10.0s (255/75R17).

285/70R17 = 32.7" x 11.2" - not significantly different from stock - :dunno: - good stock replacement with a bit more flotation & ground clearance.
