This may be a dumb question...

But I was dropped as a baby.

Anyways I have 2 quarts of Pennzoil Synchromesh in my garage.
I have read that switching over to this oil on the NSG-370 really smoothens out the shifting.

My jeep has 1200 miles should I do it asap? Should I wait till my 3000k mile motor oil change? Or should I not do it at all due to warranty reasons? I know its an approved oil for sure.

Are you changing the engine oil or the trans?

I have no idea if synchromesh is even compatible with our trans. IIRC, use ATF+4.

I wouldn't stray from the owners manual while under the 3/36 plan.

Sorry I missed this. Yes synchromesh. Don't put the automatic stuff in the manual trans.

I did Amsoil in my 6 speed. I could tell a difference, nobody else could. It's a slight improvement.

Don't be hoping for a brand new transmission with shifting the 6 speed, it's a bitch no matter what. I'd only change if you want to and make a mess, no easy way for doing tranny and t/c.
