AFE has some good and very helpful stuff for the '12 owners who want to get their rigs in the air and need to address a couple different exhaust limitations/problems. Also have a CAI now. Expensive chit, but should be headache free. Wonder how the Pentastar does without the bugle....

Cool! Honestly tho, the CA intakes don't do anything real performance wise nor do the exhaust mods unless someone releases a chip that takes advantage of it...

the Y pipe is great! I have been using it for some time. The high clearance exhasut I installed and took off. I did not like the sound at all. The mid range power was nice though. You noticed it at wot.

I sitll have it sitting here in the box if someone wants it for cheap.

The down pipe that eliminates the bugle pipe is a great idea, however I am told that it needs to stay for power. no idea if it helps or hinders yet. I do not have it or plan to put it on as I'm putting skids to cover that.

AFE has not put any of these on the Dyno yet...at least I have not seen any results to date. i'm hoping they do sooner than later.

I'm curious to find out if the bugle needs to stay because of power, then what are some of the fixes for the long arm kits that require the bugle to be removed.

Dealer Service Adviser told me this morning that Chrysler says the exhaust is crucial with the VVT engine (thus the bugle) and any exhaust modifications could impact warranty claims with an engine issue. This is a fairly mod-friendly dealer and said that he personally would have to really see something sketchy to call it, but he said that other dealerships might use it as an excuse to cause problems. For me most exhaust mods don't do enough to make it worth the risk.

In the 12's unfortunately if you don't do some kind of modification you will have issues with drive shaft clearance when you lift it. In my case the lift kit I want, RK long arm, the mount themselves interfere with the bugle.
