The Mid Florida Jeep Club is planning a trail ride and dineout on 1/24. We will meet at Sears in Deland at 10:30 am and travel to north to Crescent City for lunch at 3 Bananas with trail ride in the Ocala Forrest to follow. If you are unable to meet for lunch, we will target leaving 3 Bananas at 1:30 pm for the ride.

Sisterinlaw has a cabin up there (Bybee, TN). Family vacation. Buncha florida hicks drivign north to try to find snow. I have some friends up that way too who lived down here years ago.

I havent made up my mind yet if I'm gonna take my Jeep, drive my brother's truck, or borrow mom n dad's tahoe. One is fun but cold, one is fun but expensive (deisel), and one is comfortable but boring.

Probably wind up taking the Jeep.

Well no snow up here right now just cold. Its not supposed to be over 30 all week and chance of some light snow on Thursday. Im in Nashville though. They are in a bowl and hardly ever get snow.

My plan is to head up into the mountains and look for some snow on the upper elevations. If I dont find any, I'm gonna drive north to show my little man snow if I have to shake hands w/ santa claus at the north pole to do it.

Yeah...sounds like I'm taking the Jeep.

Seriously, if I take the Jeep, I think I need to hit some forest roads in some of the national/state forests and find some wildlife managemant areas in eastern TN and/or western NC.
