As I'm sure, the whole country has heard about a little snow storm that just hit the east coast... 20" on the ground, lucked out there!
BUT- I jumped in my Rubicon to move it, ( not bothering to shovel behind it knowing I have factory lockers) , grab my 4wd shifter and it went all the way to LOW range... Then I remembered the plastic bushing that holds the linkage to the shifter fell apart when I changed the parking brake a few months ago. Of course I forgot to get a new one!

Big question I have is does anyone have a GOOD fix for this besides a plastic bushing? Memory tells me the shaft is not long enough to drill for a cotter pin ( which is HOW it should have been done at the factory).

Thanks guys, I really want to hear of any & all fixes you might have.

Hmm . . . 10 seconds to search JKO:

That should get you started. There's dozens more if you SEARCH.

Also, why dafook didn't you make your thread title descriptive? :dunno:

All JKs use the same Tcase linkage clips (including an '08 RUBICON), but not all JKs have a
"Broken Transfer Case Linkage Clip" <-- That would've been a good thread title.
