‘14 JKUR Electric fan won’t shut off

2014 JKUR modified w/37” and Edelbrock supercharger. I replaced my tstat because I got a trouble code (had to replace in my other JKU with no issues). Refilled fluids no bubbles but then as soon as it gets to temp the fan turns on and stays on until I shut it off. So chasing I went. I replaced the coolant temp sensor first… twice and still stays on. Then replaced both relays, no change. Now I’m getting ready to install another tstat. Cold weather no difference. No AC on.
Has anyone else had this problem? Don’t want my fan to prematurely die because it works just fine other than this.

Welcome to the Forum!
What engine cooling temps are you seeing on your EVIC?
200-205. Sticks around OE temp. It’s just as soon as it gets warmed up to temp the fan never shuts off until I turned the Jeep off. Replace with a second tstat last night with no change. Filled and bled coolant.
.
I just replaced both fan relays the other night. That was my last ditch before I put in another tstat.
Guess I should’ve called Edelbrock as soon as I replaced the first tstat. Tech told me they program it that way on purpose so it comes on when it gets to temp since the Supercharger adds heat to the system. Guess the Jeep had troubles longer than I knew. Hope someone else can read this if they have the same set up and run into this issue.

Can confirm it’s a programming issue, I had the same symptoms on my Edelbrock setup. The fan eventually failed and it was a $700 part a couple years ago.
This is a silly thing for Edelbrock to have done. There's no reason to run that fan at full all the time. Put in a RIPP 180 thermostat and re-tune your ECU to throttle up the fan as you hit about 210F (might have to pay a tuner to do this depending on your experience and what product you use to tune).

It'll still run cooler than factory and the fan won't be on all the time.
