Smittybilt XRC swing Hi-Lift mount

While not a "write-up" that I usually do, this is more for the guys that do a search for something like this. I've had a few people ask me about the hi-lift mount of mine.

It's basically a Lowe's bought piece of 1/4" plate and three square u-bolts (from Tractor Supply) holding the base on. The upper support is a stock sway bar end link with some galvanized "mounts" that are sold at Lowe's by the fence springs/hinges/latches/etc that were tweaked in a manner to hold it upright. I'll probably need to do something about it when I put a 37" tire on the back soon!

As it is, it's pretty wiggle free after I tweaked the jack in a few spots...anyway..

Nice, Mike! I always like homebrew mods like this. I like it. Especially repurposing a stock sway link!
