Hot Red Bull? No problem

So, you left a medium sized can of RedBull in your 07-09 JK all day, and now it's hot.. You're thirsty, and that RedBull would be mighty good right now, but it would be a lot better COLD!!! Well friends, Help is here!!!!!

1: Start jeep
2: remove center A/C vent
3: slide can of Red Bull into vent tunnel
4: re-install A/C vent
5: Turn A/C on full blast
6: drive around(or stay parked) for five minutes
7: remove vent, remove Red Bull
8: re-install vent, and enjoy your frosty Red Bull!!!!

I know, I know... I'm awesome... You guys can thank me later.

CORRECT good sir!!!!! This procedure will only work with an UNOPENED CAN!!!!!!

I am not responsible for any attempts to cool a half-enjoyed Red Bull in this manner!!!

Spin and pull? I thought that was the easy part haha. The hard part is finding enough change in the cup holders for redbull in the first place.

We do this all the time with water bottles over here. I can drink hot water if I have to but I much prefer a nice cool one instead! This works like a charm!

I'll have to remember this one.

Does it work better if you spin the vent closed after reinstallation?

I would think you need to leave the vent open to get airflow past the can

correct... Now if you wanted to, you could close the OTHER vents, so the airspeed is increased through that single vent.... But now you're speakin' crazy talk!!!!

Been using this trick since i got my jk. Salesman at the dealer showed it to me.

The rubicon is a 29 km. river in northern Italy. "Crossing the rubicon" is a popular idiom meaning to pass a point of no return. Originating from Ceasaer's 49 BC crossing of the river, which was considered an act of war

How cold does it actually get? And how long does it take? 5 minutes seems a little quick.
