Video: Recon 10,500 winch recovers box truck

Hey guys... I've had my Recon winch for a few months now... Never did get it wired in properly.. but the other day when one of my box trucks got stuck in the mud, I wired it in via jumper cables, and put it to work.. I caught the event on video.

I could dribble on about the value and features of this winch... But if you're like me.. you don't believe it until you see it..

So watch it.

YouTube - Jeep with Recon winch recovers a box truck

So in short.. I'm very happy with the Recon 10,500 lb waterproof winch that I paid less than $500 for... I have almost that much in my recovery equipment.

Heheh It's true... but that was a straight pull... With the snatch block, it was back in the realm of possibility..... but honestly, there was a huge mound of mud in front of the passenger side tire, and I figured it was going to have to be pulled out backwards... especially since I wasn't willing to dig it out.. LOL

Good stuff!

Good recovery nonetheless.
