Another Gauge Pod

Yet another gauge pod, sorry no earlier pics available.
I started wiith the Daystar dash top and modified it to fit three 1-1/2 inch gauges, the back storage area was cut out along its inside edge and fliped over and epoxied back in place. A couple pieces of styrine plastic were then epoxied to the sides and cut to the correct profile, drilled three holes of the correct size with hole saw. Right now its it the fill and sand stage, I'll finish off with a couple coats of texture paint.

Looks good!
What gauges you going to put in it?

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

That is a really nice job. You picked a great place for them. It ought to look right at home when it's painted. Please post up pics of the finished project.

Well here's the finished product, the texture looks very aggresive due to the camera flash but not so bad in the sun. I'm waiting for a heater hose adapter and an oil filter sandwich adapter to arrive then I'll install in the Jeep.

A question, anyone out there know if there is a hole already in the firewall I can pull the lines through or will I have to drill??
