making big winshield lights and aev snorkel fit.

The hidx lights were too big to run on the regular mounts. we had a couple of different ideas how to do it. what we basically did was take a pice of flat bar aluminum.

1drill a hole big enough to fit a bolt. bolt must go thru ariginal mount to.

2put the alum on the original mount and place the light where it fits good. remember that the bolt on the light may touch the cowl. so unless you wanna hack some of the bolt off figure a way to make it work.

3mark the hole and drill it. cut off the extra with a hack saw.

4place the alum on the orignal mount tighten enough to be sturdy but loose enough to move around.

5find the right angle you want with the bar and tighten down the alum.

6put the light on and tighten it down now. i put a piece of fuel line on the bottom of mine to protect the cowl.

now the pics.

the texture in the bottom corner is the snorkel
just another angle.
