Dietech Mirror Relocation bracket video, and review.

So, I baught these a couple weeks ago..

Dropped almost a $100 bill after shipping... but kept telling myself that it should be worth it... after all, no other solution looks as sturdy, or as 'stock'..

Here it is installed on my Jeep...

Well.. My main concern before buying along with price / value was the fact that it uses existing mirrors... People told me that didn't take too long to switch 'em out.... but it's hard to believe what you can't see.... New OEM mirrors are like $150+ So I didn't want to have to buy them TOO.

so here's a vid of mine coming out of the die-tech mounts, and going back into the stock doors... This was my 2nd time doing this, ever.. It's pretty quick.

The transition is definately fast enough that I have no plans of buying OEM mirrors as a spare. Maybe you're different... but at least now you know how long it takes....

The value is definately there. These are metal.. not plastic.. I don't have to re-adjust the mirrors.. although they are just a bit lower... Other than the hinge peg on the bottom... which I consider optional... There are no threds, or anything to go wrong on this... just built right, and tough. The finish is great too..

Highly recommended!

I got a set for Christmas and I agree that they are stout and worth the money! I think I'm gonna spring for a extra set of mirrors (trying to find some used though). I also got their utility mount ($30ish) and shipped I only paid about $105. Did you buy them from Dietech cuz it sounds like you got taken.

I ordered from dietech... After shipping it was around $80 I suppose... The better part of $100 bill.... I suppose I had enough left over for dinner Heheh

I guess if I could find REALLY cheap oem style mirrors, I'd pick 'em up... but as you can see, this is not hard.... it took me quite a bit longer to get the 4 doors on / off... Of course, as you can see in the video... I'm not skilled.... nor am I in a hurry.. and it took about 2.5 minutes to do both sides.

I know it isn't hard to do, I just usually am running out of the house with no time to take the doors off anyway so I figure an extra set of mirrors will help me get places on time.
