I have not tried putting soft top on yet but there are holes for both the soft and hard top mounting. The provided bar seems to have all the same holes as the stock bar. I did ream out one hole for the peg on the hard top driver's side to fit just right. I would bet that if I pre-measured from the windshield to the first hole on the stock bar then matched it when aligning the windshield with the new bar it would have been no issue.

Yes there are holes made, several of us have had wind noise issues after this cage however. There is a thread on it here, trying to get mine resolved!

Reaming the peg hole toward the rear resolved wind noise allowing the hardtop to sit back far enought in relation to the top edge of the windshield.

LOVE the bloopers section of the rear tube door kit install video; or is it the rear wheel kit. No wait, or is it the rear rock rail kit!?! Very funny. She was a good sport! Great stuff.

spread the love...

I believe she was getting a little fed up with making the video but she is happy that the clip about me being "annoying" made it on the web. It look like she is willing to star in future install videos. As for the garage most of the set-up was from lowe's.

for 2:19.

Jeep looks sweet. I'm very jealous of your open air setup in February. I think I may have to invest in your wheel and tire setup next time around...

Great job on the video. I installed my last year, got it on the pre-order. The passenger side wire bundle is a major concern. Thanks for making a point to show it. I actually drilled into mine . The instructions to the first few sold did not mention it. Major PITA to repair the wiring. This is a great bolt-in mod.

Thanks

I also cut one wire even though I was being very careful. It was after the fact that I pulled the harness away via the glove-box which I strongly suggest to everyone as the precaution prior to cutting that area.
