A.C.E. Engineering Front Bumper install

well i finally was able to pick my bumper up from A.C.E. Engineering today. let me just say that the quality of this bumper and all of the A.C.E. products i have installed have surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. this experience with adam has been great from order to pick up his customer service is unsurpassed by any other manufacturer that i have ever dealt with. i would recommend that anyone looking for a great product at an unbelievable price try an A.C.E. product. i was looking for a stubby front bumper with a stinger and no fog holes and when this came available it was a must have. i was so excited to have it in my possession that i installed this in the rain today in 40 degree weather. now for the write up.

in all i would rate this install with a difficulty level of 3. house hold socket set and hex wrenches are all that you will need for tools. 3 zip ties and 6 beers are the only other supplies needed. total install time by myself was 45 minutes and that included plenty of time for .

step one remove plastic bumper cover by unscrewing 4 bolts located in front of tires. optional i did so i could remove my stock tow hooks.

step two remove factory steel bumper by 8 nuts from inside factory bumper next to fog light cut outs.

step three untie the stock fog light wire harness from the stock front bumper and using zip tie to your desired location for safe keeping.

step four mount A.C.E. Engineering front bumper on frame rails. using supplied hardware secure bumper to frame rails.

step five clean up tools and drink beer while admiring your new bumper!

it is 2 in and .134 wall thickness... not a plow but enough support to take a decent pounding.
