Inatalling one tons seems to be a common enough thing on here. In Alaska, though, I am one of three people with them currently, hopefully that changes soon. Myself, John Kyle with MoPar's, coil overs, and a Hemi, and Terex with MoPar's and coil overs front and rear.

This is my build and picture thread. Figure a lot of people like seeing things from different places, more remote states. On the heels of the JKX Alaska trip, figure if provide some more awesome Alaska wheeling pics in my build thread.

My base rig is a 2013 JKUR 6 speed

Currently, I am running 2.5" AEV coils and Bilstiens, Metal Cloak links and tie rod, and front track bar. Synergy front drag link, and rear track bar. MoPar Ultimate Dana 60's with 5.38 gears. Metal Cloak Hi Line fenders. JCR bumpers that are bed lined, as is the entire interior and tailgate. Running 38x13.50x18 Toyo MT's on basic aluminum Pro Comp wheels (for now). Adam's Drivshafts. Smittybilt 12k X2O with Plasma Line and Factor 55 Flat Link. AEV snorkel.

Future plans are a full 4 link, front and rear (maybe 3 link). Fox external res shocks. 4.5/5.5 coils. Some kind of rocker protection. Supercharger (likely a Sprintex).

This thing sees real wheeling. I don't care about my paint or dents of any kind. It is also my daily driver.

Okay. Made more progress. I ordered up 17" D window steel wheels, made some custom rock rings, and installed Inner Air Lock bead locks, and a set of 40" ProComp MT2's.

I got into a minor accident, and sheared my steering box sector shaft. So, since insurance was paying, I took advantage and installed a PSC hydro assist kit. When installing, my Metal Cloak tie rod was too close to the diff cover to install the end of the ram. So, I swapped it for a Synergy setup.

Have to say, it is gorgeous lol. The steering weight is much heavier, but you can turn the wheel with a pinky, while in 4x4 and on dry pavement.

What made you go with, excuse my lack of better words, "fake" beadlocks rather than just conventional weld ons?

They aren't fake, they are real bead locks that are just internal.

I went with them due to cost, and weight savings, and the fact that they are real double bead locks, not just a single sided bead lock.

All 5 were about 650 shipped. You can't buy 5 double bead locks for that.
