How to make a Daystar switch panel work with a 6 speed manual

The problem is that the boot when shifted into 1st, will turn on or off one or more of your switches. This is how I overcame it.
The guard has a fold on the bottom under the switches.

Very cool idea. I had always wondered why these panels were listed as 'for Automatics Only,' and just assumed the panel itself would get in the way of the shifter.

Any chance you could get some quick measurements of the face of the panel? I'm thinking about a Switch-Pros SP-8100, and this looks like a great place to mount one, if it's got enough space.

Thanks for that. Looks like it would fit an SP-8100 quite well. Hmm...
