How to remove your stock Automatic shifter knob & install some Drake billet candy

Go from this....

To this...

Step 1:
Gently pull down on the small plastic collar at the base of the shifter to expose the allen head bolt holding it on (on an automatic).

Step 2:
Using a 5/64th allen wrench, remove the set screw holding the shifter knob to the metal shifter rod.

Step 3:
Slide the OEM shifter up and off the metal shifter rod.

Step 4:
Slide the Drake billet shifter knob over the shifter rod.

Step 5:
Using the same 5/64th allen wrench from step 2, tighten the allen bolt.

Done!

I actually installed them a few days ago. If someone has hood flutter, these DEFINITELY stop it!
