rear bumper, frame tuck, and exhaust

First remove plastic bumper and throw in dumpster.

Sawzall rear crossmember out.

Cut notch out of body mount and remove 3" of frame rails.

weld in gussets

Remove muffler.

Weld it up.

60" of 2"x4"x1/4".

Side view of cut frame.

Another view of bumper and exhaust.

Sweet....Now build them and sell them here and make $$$$. you could even add a tire carrier and still be cheaper then the other brands.

There is alot of work involved even in a simple bumper.
I spent 12 hours doing all that, i think i'll just make my own...

Does that void the warranty?

On a serious note...if you do that, could it potentially turn your title to a salvage? I don't know how they'd find out, but resale...is it hurt?

I would only do this if I knew for a fact I was keeping my Jeep forever, but I'm curious anyway.
