DIY BFH Front Bumper Build

I'm starting my front bumper build and thought I'd write something to help other people do this too. I really like the look of the Poison Sypder BFH bumper and it looked pretty simple, so I thought why not make my own? I started with messing around with cardboard at first, then decided to practice on a smaller scale with thinner scrap metal I had. (Note the awful welds)
After I deemed that somewhat successful, I used that model to make more models on google sketch up. These are the final dimensions I thought would look similar to the original BFH bumper.

I am thinking I will use JCR Offroad's method of keeping all of the pieces together by leaving small tabs in the cuts, bending each piece into place, and then welding the seams together.

I called a local fab shop yesterday and got quoted $87.50 for a 4'x2' plate of 3/16" steel. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to start working on the final product.
