Safety issues

Are there any safety issues with running 15" wheels and 33/12.50 15 tires on a jk? How do they handle on the highway?

There are no safety issues at all. There are some clearance issues with the brake calipers. I have heard some people do a little bit of grinding on the caliper to stop any rubbing. Also, some aftermarket tie rod/ends will not fit your rig due to the smaller rim.

toymaster hit the nail on head. ive been running 15"s except with 35"s for about 50,000miles now. had to do some grinding on the brakes but not a big deal. search and you shall find all the answers you need.
