Dissapointed in Raceline, any other recomendations for a quality headlock?

Damn autocorrect, beadlock... not headlock

I ordered a set of Raceline wheels a few weeks ago through Discount Tire Direct. At the time Raceline said to have ten in stock. The day they were supposed to arrive my rep. at discount tire direct called me to inform me that raceline didn't have the ten in stock, and that they would have to drill out some more wheels over the weekend and ship them. Again discount tire calls me yesterday to inform me that Raceline only sent four wheels rather than the five I ordered. No big deal, I can mount the spare later.... Today discount tire calls me to inform me they inspected the boxes before shipping to me and all the wheels were scuffed up from the beadlock bouncing around in the box(Not secured.)
Rather than wait another week for another letdown I cancelled the order and have decided I don't want to wait another week for another letdown.

I have considered the ATX Slab, and Spyderlocks but the weight is a bit of a drawback. Any other recommendations?

Your beadlock rings were in the box with the wheel? When my racelines showed up the rings were in a separate box that was banded to the top of the box that the wheel was in. Also the ring and wheel both had some type of padding hairnet looking thing over them to deter scuffing or other damage.

Raceline definitely usually ships their wheels separate from the rings. The wheels are in separate boxes completely because you have to choose steel or aluminum rings. Something sounds weird there.

HOWEVER -

If you're looking for other options check out Trail Ready too. Made in the USA and a killer product too.

What wheels did you order from Raceline? There might be someone on the board who has them in stock for instant gratification. They are a quality option if you really had your heart set on them.

(I DON'T have these in stock, I'm speaking for the other Raceline dealers.)

If you want to chat with Raceline direct call and talk to Mike Dickerson. He's a good guy who will shoot you straight. Sorry to hear you had trouble with them.

Marcus

Trailready does great work ad are local to me. They have their own wheels or you can send any aluminum wheel to them and for like 200 or 215 each they'll bead lock em for you.

I ordered the raceline Monster 17x9.5
I didn't get to see them first hand, so I'm not exactly sure how they were boxed(Just relaying what the rep. told me.) He did tell me that he could email me pictures, but I told him not to worry about it.
I will check out the mentioned beadlocks. I just don't want to deal with any sort of a crazy backorder. I already pulled the tire of my spare and gave it to my buddy(He is taking my pro comp wheels.)
I nearly had all the tires dismounted this AM, glad I didn't!!

I would probably have went with trail ready had I realized they were only American made beadlock(I think). But I sure do like what I got from Marcus, and they'd look tits on your rig

Thanks. I'm not gonna lie and say I probably won't shed at least a small tear when it happens, but I'll just touch em up like I do all the other shit I scratch

I have no complaints with hutchington rock monsters, they are heavy though if you are concerned about weight.

Some build info here:

I think I'm gonna try the trail gear beadlocks. They are available at a good price, and don't seem to have any negative reviews.
Another big plus is that they ship within one business day of ordering.
