Starting the which tire game.

My current setup:
2010 JKU auto 3.73
Teraflex 2.5 Coil Lift w/ 9550s
Teraflex Discoes
Moto Metal 950s 17x8 4.5 BS

What I want to know is how big of a tire I can go with least amount of trimming. The wife already said no to flat fenders or trimming so that's a no go. So as far as I understand I will need to trim the pinch seam and rubi rails depending on size. I will also be adding ACE sliders in the near future as well.

Just for the bump if I go up in size 35s will be the biggest I will go. Will most likely sleeve and gusset the D30 before I do. So any recommendation?

Are you asking if 35's will fit with your set up? Yes, they will. You will need to check to make sure you are bump stopped correctly but they'll fit. You may or may not need to trim your rubi rails and pinch seam but if you do it's a real easy deal. Many write ups on here.

Gusset the C's for sure. Sleeve it depending on your wheeling style.

Yeah I'm just on the fence since its a DD. I would hate to buy the new tires only to not have the tools to trim the pinch seams and rubi rails. Just trying to be over prepared before I drop the money on tires.

All you will need is a sawzall to do the rail and the pinch seam. Maybe a file to smooth the edges.

Also, unless your springs are total crap and your shocks are shot to hell, you shouldn't have any wheel to rock rail contact while you are driving on the road with 35's.

I just need to stop over thinking it and just pull the trigger and do it.
