this setup gonna work?

35x12.50x17 Trxus MT's.
1.5 spidertrax wheel spacers
stock 17" rims
2.5 inches of lift.
will this rub anywhere?

2011 Cosmo blue Unlimited Sport- stock for now.

Yep.

You can go flat fenders.... and trim here and there but it may rub a little on the control arms at full steer.

Not a show stopper and you will be able to get by until you can throw some lift at it.

Someone here has GOT to be running a similar setup. You may be able to get by with the 2.5 along with the spacers.

i thought for sure some had ran 35's with no lift just not offroad, i figured 2.5" lift would have been appropriate for street at least.
is it more of a backspacing issue than a lift height issue or both?
what would it take for both to be okay? im not going offroad anytime soon sadly, so im not too worried about if it will rub disconnected etc.

You should be fine. What lift are you running?

I don't know why Pluke said you'd rub with 2.5" of lift...

I ran 35s on a 2.5 budget boost and now 37s on a 2.5 RK lift.

This thread cornfoosed me. Call me if you want to chat...I can give you real world input and sometimes it's easier to explain yourself by phone.

Kinda confusing me too.
currently no lift, looking at rk heavily. Maybe a budget boost or next step up.
not really even close to pulling the trigger yet. My accountant (aka wife) has not approved funds yet. Might try and enjoy my stock tires while I put armor on. Just trying to plan a bit.

Here's mine on a 2.5" Rough Country budget boost and 35" MTRs:

Here it is on 37s, PSC flares, and 2.5 Max Travel:

You'll be fine - don't overthink it. Just do it. The Series 2 budget boost from Rough Country is a freaking steal at $179.

thanks for your help. ill keep the rancho lift in mind.
do you think my stock 265/75r17 would sell? not even 3k miles on them yet...

edit: and just while im thinking about it will the stock tire carrier accept a 35" tire?

A 35" tire will rag out your tailgate door, it's just too heavy and the hinges won't hold up.

but your only rubbing under what appears to be extreme flex.
I stated for the most part it would be for street and i wasnt too concerned about offroad for the moment. But thanks for the pics and advice.
Also, I do not play hockey...

extreme flex... its not even disconnected.

in all honesty, if you dont see more flex then that on the trail then you'll be goodl.

With 2.5 inches of lift, and 37"x 12.5" wide tires and 4.5" bs I had minor rubbing on road at full lock. None due to potholes or curbs, until I was fully loaded... My guess is over 6k with passengers and gear. Then only the rear rubbed on bigger bumps.
35's on the street...if they rub at all, it will be infrequent, no cause for real concern, imo.
