Nitro Trail Grapplers

35s vs 37s

Iím going to leave this bit of info in hopes that it may help someone make a decision.

Iíve been running 35s and recently moved up to 37s, 37x 12.50-17 specifically.
I originally went with the Trail Grapplers based on reading a ton of reviews, I decided that they offered what I wanted. Decent on road wear and handling and above average on the trails/rocks. I donít like/do mud, so that wasnít an issue and did not figure into my choice.

This is not a review so much as it is a comparison of the sizes but I have no complaints on the tire. The 35s have served me very well. The used tires you will see below have a touch over 25k miles on them (mostly highway) @ 65 mph or greater.

Without bead locks, I air down to 13-14 psi, Iíve never (knock on wood) rolled one off the wheel. That may or may not be partially due to my wheels. (Fuel Anza).

Anyway, when new the 35s mounted on the Jeep at my weight measured @ 34Ē even (29 psi)

Iíve added approximately 250-350 lbs to my set up since then.

The 37s measured @ 36 1/4 ď (29 psi)

Hereís a few pix.
If this helps you, Iím happy.

EDIT:
Dam auto correct.
Title should say ďNittoĒ. Iím sorry, on my phone, Iíll try to edit title later.

Yes, I plan on some trimming before I do any wheeling.

Yea, the fenders were done in anticipation of the 37s, it did look out of balance.

I know the feeling, working my way up to doing 37's right, 40's $$$$$$$ if done right.

If you don't have a plan for yourself, someone has one for you!!!
