Towing Newbie

This is my first wrangler.

2015 unlimited sport. max towing package.

I am moving from FL to NJ and renting one of those small Uhauls to pull behind it.

I know with other vehicles I have owned there is an OD switch but don't see one in my jeep

So my question is what would you suggest for the long drive? Do i manually shift it or just drive it normal. The Uhaul won't be very heavy, only moving a few things home with me.

Thanks

- Sean

Just drive it normal. I pull a small travel trailer and it does fine. I guess according to the manual u just leave it in drive. It won't go into od unless conditions permit.

Just drive it like normal. On hills I'll drop gears manually to keep the RPMs up higher than the CPU normally does, but that's about it.

Something to keep in mind, uhaul will not rent u trailer if u have a soft top. Don't know why and it's a completely ridiculous rule but be forewarned.
