is 3.2" too little of backspacing?

Im shopping for something that will push my tires out a little more and the only hub centric spacers I can find are 1.5" which will put me at 3.2" of backspacing...

For some reason I remember someone saying 3.5" is the lower limit, but I could be wrong.

Also,

Teraflex makes a 1.25" which would put me at 3.45" but it doesn't say whether its hub centric or not..

Here is the URL, is that ring in the middle of the spacer in the picture the hub centric part?

The farther out you push the wheels the more stress you are going to put on the hubs, ball joints. That being said I would not be concerned at the numbers you are talking about.

Some build info here:

2 pair of those and you will be set. They are hub and lug centric.

What size tire and wheel are you running? 90% of setups will be fine with this spacer.

im running a 3.5 bs and no spacers front, but 2" spacers rear. But these are different axles. In the past i ran 4.5 backspacing on 1.5 spacer and 35s on factory axles also with no problems other than the shitty stock bjs and bending a stock axle shaft...
