Probably not bad. I have a RK 2.5, 35's, and Smitty flat flares and it looks good. Can't seem to get a pic to load from my tablet. Shoot me an email address in a pm and I can send you a couple pics if you want them.

I used to run 35's with 3.5 inch lift and 1 inch body lift with Ace fenders. surprisingly I don't have any pics though.

The xrc fenders plus the 3.5-4.5" lift (2 doors will get 4.5") will look weird I think. The wide open fenders give the illusion you have about 3.5-4" more lift and much larger wheel well openings vs stock. You end up looking like you have 7-8" of lift and 7-8" extra wheel well width and this makes 35s look tiny. Due to the huge wheel openings dwarfing the tires I think flat flares, no lift and stock 31s looks weirder than having a 5" lift stock flares and stock 31s.

3" lift, 35" tires and stock fenders looks pretty good. If you install flat fenders, 37" tires would look awesome.

Here's a pic with a 3" RK lift, 35's and stock fenders, I don't have any pics of a 3" with flat fenders and 35's....

Not to hijack the thread, but do you know which tires and wheels (and their sizes) this white JKU has?

Thanks!

Whenever I get a new idea, to see what it might look like, I use Google image search, and put in something like this: "jeep jk 35 inch tires 3.5 inch lift flat fenders". Most of the results it gives you will be what you asked for, but not everything - you'll have to read the caption it gives you or go to the actual page the pic is on to see for sure. (Not trying to sound sarcastic here, like when somebody asks a question and 10 people tell them to "use the search function!" I actually do use google for this, and it works fairly well for me )

Thats mine with 315x70x17s, so slightly smaller than 35s on a 4.5 lift with cut flares, before going 37s.
Maybe a little goofy but not real bad.
Imo different tires and rims combos alter the perception.

Like noted earlier, the wheels are the 17x8.5 ET-6 MB Chaos 5 mounted with 35x12.50R-17 Nitto Trail Grappler tires.
