TPMS

Ok....hopefully this is my last stupid question.....but since I don't know, I will ask..
Does my 2011 2dr sport have TPMS sensors? If so, when I buy new wheels, will I have to have these added? Can they be added? Are they a necessity?
The wheels I am looking at are Incubus - Off Road
Thanks again!

yes your jeep has sensors (or is suppose to) and they normally can be easily transferred over to the new wheels with a rebuild kit.

should reset almost instantly if the psi is set according to the door placard

every vehicle made after 2008 is required to have a tire pressure monitoring system (tpms) most have switched to the european style or old school buick style which is all internal with no sensors. now with that being said, yes your JK has them and yes they will need to be rebuilt, and will require a special torx bit to get the screw on and off. At discount tire we rebuild with every tire swap, flat repair, or change over. come down to one of our stores and get those wheels as we can order everything but private label and we can set up a wheel combo to not only install and order those wheels but offer you lifetime HIGH speed balancing and rotations on our top of the industry Hunter balancers
