Noob from Portland Oregon

Hi y'all I am Justin from Portland Oregon via Houston Texas. I have built a few jeeps for others but never one for myself. I am buying my 2011 Rubicon on June 1st. I am really wanting the 2 door, but my wife wants a 4 door due to us adopting a child or 2 in the near future. What is everybodys opinions on the difference between the two. Also wth is a Low Center of Gravity lift kit versus a regular suspension lift?

welcome aboard.. even though the oregon washington board is about dead. hang out on the nor cal section, it stays active. I have a lifted 4dr, waaay different than older jeeps, You can take the corners without worrying about going over. Mine is 4 1/2" and I take most corners faster in it then I do in my stock work truck..center of gravity is great on the 4drs

Welcome from 150 miles north of you. Was born and raised in PDXville. I think you'll like this site,
And yeah, I drive my 4 door like it's a sports car. Wouldn't even think about goin with the 2 door.

welcome! Go with the 4-door! Though my Jeep is a 4-door (and it's my first Jeep) I previously drove a suzuki samurai (with a back seat) and let me tell ya, that most definitely would not be a kid rig. Kids would be waayyy easier to get in and out with a 4-door, and whats not to love about a rig you can take family off-road outtings in!
