Did you amp the speakers or are they running on the deck power? That looks like a nice steam install on the tweeters.

Some new parts to install, a pillar pod with switches to hook up all the lights, new window switches & a climate control panel with the Drake covers over the knobs for a nicer look.

Finally I got around to hook up all of the lights on my Jeep, angel eyes on the headlights & halos on the fog lights...then BAM! all of the exterior LED lights that turn night into day...now to see when someone hits their high beams on me on a dark road...they will get a blast from me that will definitely be like a deer caught in headlights lol!

Today I dropped off my Jeep at the shipping company thatís going to take it to Greece, it will be about 30-40 days until I see it on the other side of the pond.

It will definitely be a blast to drive it in the mountains, beaches & twisty roads during the summer.

I'm not usually too hip to the pocketed flares but gotta admit , those look good in this setup. body color paint on them makes a big difference.
Your JK looks like a modern take on the Tuxedo package you used to be able to get CJs in from AMC. It's cool.

I know it's a pita to do but damn I want POR-15 coating my truck & my XJ . That stuff look like it'd kick rust & water's ass. I have used it on holes so know how impermiable that frame now is. Also cool.

Did you do it or have it done ? Did they lift body off or just work in really tight spots for 3 months w/out break.

The painter POR-15íd it for me so lifted the body just enough to get that stuff in the tight places

OK, THAT'S how you do a welcome thread....

Nice Jeep. great scenery. Looks like fun.

Would you mind sharing what it cost and what was involved in shipping the Jeep over? I might do something like that as a once-in-a-lifetime vacation.... Someday.

Welcome, glad you are here.

Thanks! It cost me $2400 to ship from Toronto to Athens then I paid about $1000 there to get it out of the pier due to fees & paper work, I had to get insurance because once the vehicle leaves North American waters insurance becomes void, the cost for insurance in Greece was 135 Euros which is about $200 so in retrospect is wasnít that bad at all, the Jeep will be staying in in Greece at my house locked up until I return in the summer

Today I got a few presents...

Cowl Covers because there is a mirror dent on the passenger side so this will cover it up & make it look better...

LED 3rd brake light for now until I get bigger tires then I will order the LED ring that lights up the rear spare as a 3rd light...

Raxiom Horizon LED Tail Lights...these things look wild when they are lit up, check out the brochure for reference...they have a 3D holographic look to them going in deep hence the name horizon

LED Headlights & Fog lights both with halos, the stock lights are crap you really canít see at night with those, hopefully these new lights will make a difference...

Thatís it so far for today, I am still waiting on the other stuff to come in...to be continued!

Some window smoked deflectors...

And some metal badges...polished JK Emblems, Blacked out Jeep Emblems & the new 2019 Sahara Style Emblems to replace the stickers that are on there...

@Sinz
Please report back your thought on the Android unit once you get it installed.

I've been watching the Alpine unit for a long time now, but have thus far been unable to stomach the $3k price tag..... Recently it's dropped down to just over $2k, but that's still a lot of Jack for something I only drive about 4k miles a year.

This is the one I've been tracking....

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079W64Q84/

I see they have a newer one as well, not sure how they compare.

I agree with a $3K price tag is a little too steep to stomach on the Alpine unit...I am sure itís a good one but I went with this Seicane Nav because of the size of the screen & obviously the price tag but once I install it I will do a report.
This is the one I I have...

https://www.seicane.com/android-2008...-and-play-h201

On my 2 door I installed the Insane Audio JK2001 it was more than the Seicane in price but it works like a charm...that is definitely worth the money.

Bought some JL rims for my JK, I will be wrapping them in 33Ēs or 35Ēs but for some reason I really like these wheels & they will suit my Sahara real nice plus I got all 5 for under $400 which was a deal I couldnít refuse.
